6 Students, Bus Driver Injured In Waltham School Bus Crash

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, which is still being investigated, police said.

WALTHAM, MA — A Waltham school bus was involved in a rollover crash that sent six students and a bus driver to an area hospital on Friday, police said.

The crash happened before 8:30 a.m. on Friday when a school bus driving north on Lexington Street struck a white van trying to turn left onto Beaver Street.

After being hit by the bus, the white van rolled over onto a third vehicle that was stopped for a red light on Beaver Street.

The students and driver taken to the hospital suffered minor injuries, police said.

The accident is still under investigation as police seek to determine if charges should be filed.
