“The Belmont Savings Bank Foundation is proud to be partnering with the Waltham Boys and Girls Club, one of the touchstone organizations in our community,” said Robert Mahoney, an officer on the Belmont Savings Bank Foundation board, and President and CEO of Belmont Savings Bank. “With this donation, we are thrilled to be contributing to the club’s operations, which will include sponsoring the 2013 Gala Auction, traditionally the club’s single largest fundraiser.”

The 2012 Gala Auction raised $128,000, with the evening typically drawing over 200 people, primarily business owners and club alumnae.  A silent auction and cocktail party begins the evening and the larger items are auctioned at the end of the event.  Funds are raised by sponsorships, tickets purchased and an auction.
