Waltham Students In Finals For Art Contest

Five Waltham High School students were selected as finalists for the Dream @ 50 Art Contest in celebration of Martin Luther King's life.  Details of the contest can be found at  www.thedreamat50.com.

The following students’ posters were selected as semi finalists for “The Dream @ 50” art contest:

1. Dalena Tran, Grade 12, Poster title: What if Martin Luther King never spoke?    AP Portfolio      

2. Daniel Gonzalez Salguero , Grade 11, Poster title: We are all the same.                              

3. Hurline Bastien, Grade 10, Poster Title: Can you believe it?                                  

4. April Fitzgerald, Grade 12, Poster title: Work Together                                     

5. Asha  Burrell, Grade 10,  Poster title: I have a dream                       

The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
