Attempted Child Rape In Waltham: Grand Jury Indictments

A Middlesex Grand Jury handed down four indictments related to Waltham, including assault with intent to rape a child.

WALTHAM, MA — District Attorney announced three Waltham related indictments handed down by the Grand Jury between May 2 and June 27, including one Waltham man who is accused of assaulting someone under the age of 14 with intent to rape them.

Stephan Cutone, 50, of Arlington, was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony (2 counts), breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony, larceny from a building (2 counts), possession of a Class B substance, possession of burglarious tools, credit card fraud over $1,200, credit card under $1,200, and malicious destruction of property under $1,200. The Assistant District Attorney is Robert Royce.

Samuel Monroy, 32, of Waltham, was charged with assault with intent to rape a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 (3 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Radu Brestyan.

Sigfredo Pena, 38, of Boston, was charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Robert Royce.

Joseph Pierce, 37, of Brockton, was charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery. The Assistant District Attorney is Robert Royce.
