Toddler Hospitalized After Being Found in Pool in Waltham

A 21-month old child was hospitalized today, Friday, May 10 after she was found unconcious in a pool at a Waltham home, according to Waltham Police.

The incident occurred at around 4:59 p.m. when one of the baby's parents found the child in an in-ground pool at 11 Baldwin Rd., according to Waltham Police Lt. Brian Lambert. 

The parent resuscitated the child, Lambert said. 

The baby was taken to Children's Hospital in Boston after Waltham firefighters, police and Cataldo ambulance crews all responded to the scene, according to Lambert. The baby remains in stable condition, Lambert said. 

Lambert said the incident appears to have been an accident.
