Bentley Football Stars Lupoli, Severance Get NFL Shot

Salvatore Lupoli Jr. and Mathieu Severance received invitations to NFL rookie minicamps. Here's where they're headed.

WALTHAM, MA — Two former Bentley University football stars will get their chance to compete for an NFL roster spot starting at upcoming rookie minicamps.

The university's athletics department shared that Salvatore Lupoli Jr. and Mathieu Severance both received invitations, Lupoli from the Tennessee Titans and Severance from the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to Bentley, Severance was named an All-Northeast-10 First Team cornerback in 2023, one year after earning All-NE10 Second Team. He broke up six passes while totaling 37 tackles.

Lupoli, one of the most accomplished players in Bentley history, earned Northeast-10 Most Valuable Player honors in 2023 while compiling a laundry list of all-American honors, too.

His 337 career tackles are a school record.
