Bentley Men’s Golf Set For Delayed Opener Monday And Tuesday
Southern New Hampshire's Penmen Invitational at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H. will serve as the season opener for Bentley.

After having the scheduled opening tournament fall victim to snow, the Bentley University men’s golf team will finally launch the spring portion of the schedule Monday and Tuesday with Southern New Hampshire’s Penmen Invitational at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H.
Coach Brian Bain’s team, which remained ninth in the latest NCAA Division II East Regional rankings, is led by senior captains Timothy Picard (Dracut/Lowell Catholic HS) and Aidan Stuart (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand HS).

Also competing in the two-day event will be sophomore Robbie Sluga (Stamford, Conn./St. Joseph HS) and a trio of juniors: Bennett Berg (Portland, Maine/Portland HS), Evan Desjardins (Salem, N.H./Salem HS) and Chris Huban (Cohoes, N.Y./Albany Academy).
Picard was Bentley’s top golfer during the fall, posting a 73.8 stroke average with a low round of 70. Stuart also had a strong fall, with a 77.0 norm.

The Falcons will also be in New Hampshire Thursday for the rescheduled 36-hole Hawk Spring Invitational at The Oaks in Somersworth, N.H.
