WALTHAM, MA — The Bentley University community is mourning the death of a student just ahead of commencement weekend.University officials have confirmed that Gaurav Jaisingh died in what they're calling a "tragic accident" during the school's senior trip to the Bahamas.The Royal Bahamas Police Force said they've launched an investigation into the death, which happened around 10 p.m. Sunday.Police said Jaisingh was in his hotel room with other roommates when he accidentally fell from an upper-level balcony. Officials said he was later found "unresponsive" on a lower floor.He was taken to a hospital by emergency medical services, but police said he died en route to the hospital.An investigation is ongoing.
