Jean Shin transforms discarded objects into monumental sculptures that invite us to reconsider consumerism and identity. Shin’s 1999 installation Alterations, currently on view as a centerpiece of the group show <a href="https://www.brandeis.edu/rose/exhibitions/2025/fabricated-imaginaries.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Fabricated Imaginaries: Crafting Art</a>, was reinstalled this year by the artist for the first time since its creation. In conversation with Dr. Gannit Ankori, Henry and Lois Foster Director and Chief Curator, and Dr. Amy Kahng, Florence Levy Kay Fellow in the Art of Asia’s Diasporas and Asian American Art, the artist will discuss the formal and thematic through lines from Alterations to her most recent artworks.This event will be held online via Zoom Webinar.

Learn recurve archery in a fast pace, energetic and highly entertaining event Saturday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 pm inside the new King School Gym! All coaching, equipment, games and prizes are part of the show and no prior experience is needed to participate.

Take the Boat America Boating Safety Class this Winter!
U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boat America course is an 8-session boating safety class open to adults and youth 12 years of age and older. This NASBLA approved course provides the knowledge needed to obtain a Massachusetts or New Hampshire boating certificate. Certificates will be issued to students who pass the final exam.
