Dear Waltham Residents:
December 15, 2021
Dear Waltham Residents:
Find out what's happening in Walthamfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
If you know of anyone who is either at or below poverty level or just facing a financial hardship and needs/wants a rapid at home antigen test kit, please have the individual call the Waltham Health Department at 781-314-3305. There is plenty to distribute and they are free of charge. The kits will be delivered to the individual making the request by a health department employee.
The Health Department has distributed roughly 3500 kits to families and individuals of Waltham that are in need. The organizations that have received kits so far are: the community day ctr, the men's shelter, women's shelters, dual language school through the school department, the public schools. Salvation army, and other organizations will be given kits tomorrow (December 16th) This was just to name a few. There will be citizens that request the kits that we cannot deny access to, however the first priority today and everyday of the health department is to address those in dire need. We are following what the Governor has said about prioritizing.
