Craft Food Hall Now Open In Waltham

A trendy cafeteria with three food options, craft beer and games just opened in Waltham.

WALTHAM, MA — It's here. The food hall craze that seems to be sweeping Greater Boston has made its way to Waltham. Craft Food Hall joins the likes of Eataly, Time Out Market and the handful slated to open in the area this year and puts a spotlight on a trend that moves away from a traditional restaurant to a more cafeteria, experience based setting.

Craft Food Hall, the baby of Doug and Melissa Ferriman, just opened in the area of Prospect Hill near the Winter Street, Totten Pond Road exit off Route 128, I-95.

It adds an option for workers in the CityPoint office park area looking for a place where they don't feel rushed, can set up with their computer and work alongside lunch and snacks, or hold a business meeting over lunch.

The owners also envision families with children finding relief in a place that has options and space where children are welcome, complete with games like corn hole and fusbol and live music from time to time.

There is seating for 154 people inside and 48 outside patio seats when the weather is nice.
