DA Presses Sullinger's Waltham Case

Despite the alleged victim not wanting to pursue the case, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office says it will continue pressing its case against Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger, according to the Boston Globe. 

Sullinger is facing charges over an Aug. 31 incident during which he allegedly pinned his girlfriend to a bed. 

Sullinger's attorney told the Globe the victim does not want to press charges but the DA's office said it plans to continue its case. Sullinger is due in court on Oct. 28 and could face a suspension from NBA games.
