Guatemalan Man Living In Waltham Indicted On Immigration Charge

A man living in Waltham was said to have been deported, but returned to the city. He now faces prison time.

WALTHAM, MA — A Guatemalan man living in Waltham has been indicted by a federal grand jury for unlawfully reentering the United States after deportation, officials announced.

William Estruado Rodriguez-Botello, 39, was charged with one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien.

The charge of unlawful reentry of a deported alien provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.
