WALTHAM, MA — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Where: Charles River near Moody Street Bridge

When: Dusk

This year, The City of Waltham will hold its Fourth of July Festivities on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2. Fireworks will be set off at dusk from a barge set up in the Charles River near Moody Street Bridge on July 1.There will also be a hard closure of the Moody Street Bridge starting at 4 p.m. that day.

On Saturday, July 2, the city will host a celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Prospect Hill Park There will be music, amusements, games, and more.
