Man In Waltham Struck By MBTA Train
Police said the man was on the westbound track on River Street.

WALTHAM, MA — A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after an MBTA Fitchburge Line train hit him near 400 River Street, police said.
At about 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, Transit Police responded to a call of a person who was hit by a train. The preliminary investigation indicated a man about 20 years old was hit by a train while he was on the westbound track on River Street.
The man was transported to a Boston hospital for emergency treatment. Police said they don't suspect foul play. The incident is under investigation.
