Mayor to Meet With Resident About Waltham Parks

The meetings will begin in October.

Waltham Mayor Jeannette McCarthy has announced a series of community input meetings she plans to hold about future improvements to Waltham parks. 

  • Oct. 3, 4 p.m. about the Cedarwood Playground, at the playground site.
  • Oct. 3, 6 p.m., about Drake Playground, meeting to be held at 314 Totten Pond Rd.
  • Oct. 3, 7 p.m., about the Pond End Tot Lot at Prospect Hill Park. Meeting to be held at 314 Totten Pond Rd.
  • Oct. 5, about the Peter Gilmore Playground, to be held at the site of the playground.
  • Oct. 8, 3 p.m. about the Drake Playground, at the site of the playground.
  • Oct. 8, 4:15 p.m. Pond End Tot Lot, to be held at the site of the tot lot.
  • Oct. 8, about the Cedarwood Playground, to be held at 510 Moody St.
  • Oct. 8., 7 p.m., Peter Gilmore Playground, to be held at 510 Moody St.
The city has hired Carolyn Conley & Associates to make improvements to the parks. She will be at the meetings to answer questions.
