A mother and her 2-year-old daughter previously reported missing have been located and are safe, according to Waltham Police.
were located at around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, according to Waltham Police Sgt. Tim King. King said he could not specify where the pair was located because of an ongoing investigation.
Police, on Monday, May 6, issued an alert for the pair saying they had not been seen since May 2. Police had been contacting acquaintances and others to help locate the pair, King said. Police believed the pair had last been seen in downtown Boston and were possibly in the area of Brooklyn, New York or Jersey City, King said.
