Moody Street Open For Outdoor Dining Starting Saturday
Upper Moody Street between High Street and Derby Street will be closed to vehicle traffic and businesses will be open for outdoor dining.
WALTHAM, MA – A portion of Moody Street will be closed starting Saturday to allow downtown restaurants and small businesses better serve customers safely.
Upper Moody Street between High Street and Derby Street will be closed to vehicle and bike traffic and businesses will be open for outdoor dining using the parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
From Saturday through Oct. 31, that section of street will be open to pedestrian traffic only, with the exception of the block between Chestnut Street and Walnut Street.

In order to ensure safety, restaurants will provide hand sanitizer and paper menus, and all customers will be required to wear a mask when not seated. Customers are also encouraged to check out menus online ahead of time to reduce the use of paper menus.
