Multiple Families Impacted By Waltham Fire, 1 Rescued

Firefighters rescued a 77-year-old from a Waltham house fire on High Street Tuesday.

WALTHAM, MA—A four-alarm fire in Waltham on Tuesday had wide-ranging impacts, though they'll last for more than a dozen families.

Fire officials shared Wednesday that they were working a four-alarm fire on High Street. A 77-year-old man needed to be rescued from the third floor of the building.

Police on the scene were able to get three other residents out of the building before using a ladder to get to the 77-year-old.

Reports and officials estimate that the fire displaced 10 to 15 people.
