Pedestrian Struck in Waltham Grocery Parking Lot
Two people were injured, according to police.

WALTHAM, MA — At least one pedestrian and a driver were reportedly injured during a crash in the parking lot of Hannaford Supermarket Wednesday afternoon in Waltham.
The victims were "alert and oriented" in the immediate aftermath, according to initial reports from police. Medics were also on-scene.
Multiple new outlets reports a multi-car crash in the parking lot, located at 55 Russell Street, and overhead footage shows a vehicle that apparently smashed into the cart corral.

According to CBS Boston, the crash happened after a woman accelerated while in reverse, hitting multiple cars and at least one pedestrian. Multiple subsequent reports confirm the person struck was a Hannaford's employee.
