Roof Collapses During House Fire In Waltham

The residents and their pet bearded dragon were able to get out of the home safely.

WALTHAM, MA — Two people have been displaced by a house fire on Marivista Avenue in Waltham Sunday, reported WCVB.

Firefighters told WCVB the home was up in flames when they arrived at the scene.

The fire caused the back part of the roof to collapse and there is a lot of damage to the home, according to Waltham Fire Chief Thomas MacInnis.

The residents and their pet bearded dragon were able to get out of the home safely. No injuries have been reported.
