Taqueria, Deli Replaces Waltham's Tap Tap Station Cafe

WALTHAM, MA — The space once occupied by Tap Tap Station Cafe on Carter Street has a new occupant serving up a variety of foods.

Trencito Taqueria & Deli is open on Carter Street after Waltham's Board of License Commissioners approved a common victualer license transfer from Tap Tap to new ownership at its Feb. 26 meeting.

The new restaurant offers a wide variety of food, including breakfast, lunch and dinner options ranging from tacos, burritos and papusas to pizza, chicken tenders and burgers.

However, the emphasis is on the taqueria side of the business, which features a lengthy list of options for bowls, burritos, tacos and even a carne asada plate for dinner.

The 3 Carter St. location is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
