Three Prayer Services to be Held in Waltham For Boston Marathon Victims

UPDATE, 10:38 a.m.: A third prayer service for the Boston Marathon victims will be held at the Christ Church at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, according to Rev. Sara Irwin. The church is located at 750 Main St.

Two prayer services will be held on Tuesday, April 16 to remember and pray for the victims of the bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line on Monday, April 15.

Our Lady of Comforter of the Afflicted Parish will hold community prayer services starting at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to City Councillor Diane LeBlanc. The church is located at 920 Trapelo Rd. 

Also, Saint Mary Parish will hold a Rosary prayer service at 11:30 a.m. and a Mass service at 12:10 p.m. The church is 133 School St.

The general public is welcome at each event.
