Waltham Artist Is Latest Club Cafe Composer Showcase Headliner

The music of Linda Marks will be featured at this week's edition of Josephine's Composer Showcase at Club Cafe in Boston.

BOSTON, MA — Waltham residents and fans of local singer/songwriter music will see a familiar face on the flyer for Club Cafe's latest Composer Showcase.

Linda Marks, whose songs have touched on topics including everything from gun violence to Buffalo Bills' safety Damar Hamlin's injury, will be featured at Josephine's Composer Showcase on Tuesday evening in Boston.

Among the songs to be featured on Tuesday include "Be The Light," inspired by Amanda Gorman's inaugural poem opens the show; "Our Children's Prayer" written in the voices of the children of Uvalde; "Be The Change", which was co-written with Mike Greenly and will be featured on her upcoming album and "Love Always Wins".

This comes after an impressive start to the year for Marks, who was presented with the International Singer Songwriters Association's Award for the USA Representative of the Year. Marks also signed with BIG Recordsand is set to release a new single, "September Morn", on Sept. 29.

Featured performers on Tuesday include Josephine Mary, Kemp Harris, Zoe Krohne and Tom LaMark alongside Marks.
