Waltham Cleanup Planned For Earth Day Weekend
In honor of Earth Day, the Waltham Land Trust and the City's Public Works Department are inviting residents to pick up litter.

WALTHAM, MA — In 2020, Waltham's annual Earth Day cleanup was canceled. The kick-off event won't happen in 2021 either, but organizers hope to tackle at least some of the city's litter this year.
In honor of Earth Day, which lands on April 22, the Waltham Land Trust and the City's Public Works Department are inviting residents to celebrate with a City Cleanup on April 24, which is a Saturday.
Organizers say the cleanup is a safe, distanced way to celebrate Earth Day.
