WALTHAM, MA — The Waltham Democratic City Committee will hold a Meet the Candidates event at the historic Stonehurst | Robert Treat Paine Estate on July 14. The informal event is free and open to the public, and will provide the opportunity to meet the candidates seeking federal, state and county offices.

Following brief introductions from the candidates at 11AM, the candidates for different offices will spread out so attendees can mingle directly in a one-on-one or small group format. This event is open to the public, with the goal of increasing local civic engagement and awareness. Registration is not required; questions can be directed to WatchCityDems@gmail.com. The event is designed to encourage people to engage their candidates in this casual setting, presenting the opportunity for candid discussion about campaign issues, policy and what they bring to the city.
