Waltham Lexington Street Detour In Effect This Week
A southbound detour on Lexington Street begins Tuesday and is expected to stretch through Friday. Here's what to know.

Beginning Tuesday 4/16 the southbound detour will be in effect 7:00 am to 7:00 pm each day.
At 7:00 pm each day, southbound traffic will be allowed on Lexington St. and there will be alternating traffic through the work zone until 7:00 am the following morning when the detour will resume.

It is expected that this traffic pattern will begin Tuesday 4/16 at 7:00 am and will last until Friday 4/19 at 7:00 pm. Once this work is complete, the MWRA will revert back to the original planned southbound detour between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and opening the roadway at the end of each day.
