Waltham Milling, Paving Could Cause Slight Delays

Here's what to know ahead of the overnight work scheduled for next week.

WALTHAM, MA — Overnight milling and paving operations near the Waltham and Lexington municipal line is set to begin Sunday.

The operations will take place along Lexington Street from Jack's Way to the municipal line as part of the MWRA’s Section 101 Extension Project.

Milling is scheduled to occur between Sunday night through Oct. 30 with work from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. No work will occur on Halloween.

Final paving overlay is expected to take place at night during the week of Nov. 2.

Proper signage and police details will be on site to assist motorists through the work site. Slight delays are expected, officials said.
