Waltham Police Investigating Incident Near Drake Playground
Waltham Police said they hope someone playing on or near the court on the evening of Wednesday, July 1, might be able to help.
WALTHAM, MA — Police are investigating a possible crime that happened on Wednesday, July 1, near the basketball court at Drake Playground just around the corner from the Plympton School.
Although police didn't say the nature of the crime, they're asking for anyone who may have been out playing near the basketball court between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to assist them in an investigation.
According to the police blotter, officers were called to Drake Playground just after 9:30 for a report of an alarm going off. It's unclear if that is related.
