WALTHAM, MA — PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Waltham is now offering 24/7 Telehealth services to its patients as part of an effort to fill gaps in health care accessibility.
PhysicianOne is the only 24/7 Telehealth provider that can integrate virtual care with in-person care in the local area. Patients can have. Patients can have a question answered at 2 a.m. by a provider and receive follow-up testing or care in person at 8 a.m. at a local urgent care center.
"The pandemic may have boosted the adoption of telehealth, but as we move into an endemic it is clear that telehealth is here to stay,” said Dr. Brian Cruz, regional medical director at PhysicianOne. "I firmly believe that telehealth offers an alternative way to receive valuable medical care, particularly during 'off hours.’”

As the first urgent care in the Waltham area to integrate virtual care with in-person care, patients now have a virtual alternative to avoid spending time in the ER for overnight health concerns.
"This offering will bring a sense of flexibility to a variety of our patients who need access to reliable health care from the comfort of their own homes,” said Cruz.
