Waltham’s RTN GoodWorks Foundation Raises $31K For Local Projects

The funds will help support RTN GoodWorks Foundation's community projects and financial education efforts.

WALTHAM, MA — RTN GoodWorks Foundation raised $31,000 in proceeds from its Golf Tournament held on May 9 at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown. These funds will help support RTN GoodWorks Foundation’s community projects and financial education efforts.

The RTN GoodWorks Foundation’s Golf Tournament, which usually takes place in October, was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19 and was rescheduled from October 4, 2021 to May 9, 2022 due to severe weather conditions. The next RTN GoodWorks Foundation Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 3, 2022 at Oakley Country Club.

“We appreciate the generous involvement of our golfers, business sponsors and donors to raise funds that help us support our surrounding communities,” Joan Kuhn, Chair, RTN GoodWorks Foundation Board of Directors, said in a statement. “While the Foundation focused its charitable outreach through RTN Circle of Hope as a response to food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic, our ongoing goals are to increase access to financial education and promote life-long financial wellbeing.”
