Waltham Schedules Community Development Block Grant Meetings For 2025

The city has also launched a Spanish and English survey for residents to voice their opinions on how to use the funding.

WALTHAM, MA — 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆! The Planning Department is conducting four upcoming meetings to discuss the CDBG 5 Year Consolidated Plan.

The second scheduled public meeting will be held on Thursday, January 2nd at 10am in Government Center (see attached).

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is a federal program that provides funding for Waltham and other cities and organizations to help fund public infrastructure projects, social service programs, housing rehabilitation, and other community development activities. The city receives approximately $850,000 a year in federal funding through the CDBG Program and wants your input in how these funds are invested!
