Waltham To Accept Some Electronic Waste at Curbside Pikcup

Pickup for electronic items will be on residents' trash collection day.

Capitol Waste, the city's trash hauler, will soon begin accepting televisions, VCRs, computers, printers, cables and other electronic items as part of regular curbside trash pickup service, according to the city's recycling coordinator. 

On Monday, April 22, the city will start accepting the aforementioned items on residents' regular trash pickup days, according to Waltham Recycling Coordinator Eileen Zubrowski. However, residents must call 617-569-1718 by 3:30 p.m. the day before their collection day to request a pickup. If nobody answers the call, leave a message. Items hould be placed on the curb by 7 a.m.
