Winning $4 Million MA Lottery Ticket Sold In Waltham

The winning ticket was sold at Mike's Fuel & Food Mart, netting the Trapelo Road store a $40,000 bonus.

WALTHAM, MA — A Dorchester man can thank a winning Massachusetts lottery ticket and a stop in Waltham for a heftier bank account this week.

Tayoan De Lima Santos, of Dorchester, won a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Lion's Share” instant ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $2.6 million, before taxes. Santos told officials he plans to travel and use the money for home improvements.

He purchased his winning ticket at Mike’s Fuel & Food Mart, 1455 Trapelo Rd., in Waltham. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
