Eliot Church of Newton, an open and affirming United Church of Christ congregation, invites you to join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight&nbsp;service at 7PM. Join us for the recounting of the Christmas stories, wonderful music from our choir, organ and piano including many of your favorite Christmas carols and hymns, and stay for the end when we light candles and sing "Silent Night" together before ending our service.
Whether you're new to church altogether, have been away from church for a while, or would just like to be with others celebrating the spirit of Christmas, you are welcome. In times such as this, the Advent-time messages of hope, peace, joy, and love are more important than ever-- please join us as we work together to remember the ways we can put our love in to action, and share fellowship with us before going back out into the world.
If you are unable to join us in person, our services are livestreamed and also saved on our YouTube. You are always welcome to join our virtual and in-person family in whatever way that you can.

This isn’t just a date night. It’s a warm, playful, and heart-opening experience that invites couples to reconnect and explore what’s possible when you bring more awareness, presence, and touch into your relationship.
Since 2018, Tantra Date Night has been one of our most popular offerings, and it always fills quickly.
We’re keeping these evenings intimate - 10 couples maximum.
<h2>Who Is This For?</h2>
This workshop is for couples who:
<ul><li>Want to feel more connected - emotionally and physically</li><li>Are curious about deepening intimacy beyond just sex</li><li>Have different levels of desire or don’t always “sync up”</li><li>Are looking to improve communication around touch and turn-ons</li><li>Want to learn how to give and receive conscious touch</li><li>Are navigating long-term relationship ruts, midlife shifts, or are simply ready to spark something new</li></ul>
<h2>What to Expect</h2>
This is a fully clothed, respectful space where couples can learn, reflect, and gently practice new tools together. Expect a mix of teaching, guided partner exercises, and light movement or meditations - all in a safe, welcoming, and gently facilitated container.
You don’t need any prior experience, just openness, curiosity, and a willingness to explore together.

<ul><li>In-person event for couples only*</li><li>All genders, ages, and sexual orientations welcome</li><li>Space is limited - this event often sells out</li><li>Dress comfortably (yoga pants, layers, and socks recommended)</li><li>Bring water, and feel free to bring cozy blankets or pillows - some will be provided</li></ul>
*If you'd like to attend as an individual, you’ll need to register with a practice buddy - someone you're comfortable exploring with (they don’t have to be your romantic partner or the opposite sex).
