15 Wayland Art, Culture Projects Funded By Cultural Council Grants

The Wayland Cultural Council recently gave out more than $12,000 to fund projects ranging from wellness activities to art.

WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland Cultural Council has awarded funding to 15 local arts and culture projects ranging from a local Girl Scouts celebration to this year's Chinese lunar new year celebration.

The Wayland Cultural Council is the local organization that administers funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which distributes state and federal money for local arts and culture programs.

The members of the Wayland Cultural Council appointed by the Wayland Select Board include: Ashley Fuller, Lynne Lipcon, Dona Mitra, Naresh Myesore, Pallavi Nagesha, Nora Rothschild, Rachel Sideman-Kurtz, Annabelle Zhang. Emma Li serves as student liaison.
