Construction Accident In Wayland Leaves Man Seriously Injured
The construction worker was taken from the Plain Road site in a helicopter Tuesday evening.

WAYLAND, MA — A construction worker was seriously injured Tuesday evening after an accident at a site along Plain Road, according to the fire department.
Wayland firefighters responded to a home at 82 Plain Road just before 5 p.m. on a report of an accident. The 27-year-old worker fell about 20 feet, the department said.
The construction worker was taken to a nearby field, where he was picked up by Boston Medflight and flown to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for treatment.

The Wayland Fire Department said the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration was called in to investigate the accident.
