
WAYLAND, MA — There will be detours and re-routing in Wayland this weekend due to road construction.
On Sunday night, the Department of Public Works will begin road construction on Concord Road, from Glezen to Old Sudbury. Most of the work will happen between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The Department of Public Works said that residents will have access to and from their homes, and there will be an increase in noise level. There will also be no on-street parking.

There will be six phases of the construction, according to the town. That is milling and removing asphalt, placement of leveling course of asphalt, adjustment of all road structures, placement of finishing course, matching of any driveways or intersecting roads and re-painting all roadway lines.
