Firefighter Injured, 2 Displaced Following Wayland House Fire

A firefighter was hospitalized and a couple was displaced due to a fire Wednesday, according to a report.

WAYLAND, MA — A firefighter was hospitalized and two people were displaced following a fire at a Wayland home, according to MetroWest Daily News.

The fire broke out at a Leary Street home at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday with smoke coming from the kitchen.

The firefighter injured was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
