Keefe Regional Vocational Technical School Awarded with Training Grant

Healey-Driscoll Administration has awarded $569,821.90 to Keefe Tech in Framingham to expand career technical training and workforce skills.

Boston Representative David Linsky (D-Natick) announced today that the Healey-Discroll administration has awarded Keefe Regional Vocational Technical School District with $569,821.90 through the Career Technical Initiative (CTI) implementation and planning grants. The grant provides money for technical school districts to expand vocational training programs. At Keefe, the money will go towards training Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing positions.

“I am thrilled about the funding provided to Keefe Tech. This grant will provide crucial funding to help invest in the future of their students, many of which come from my own district in Natick.” said Representative Linsky. “I want to thank the Healey-Driscoll Administration for awarding our district with this grant that will help provide technical training to expand the talent pool in our Commonwealth.”

Across the Commonwealth, a total of $13.4 million was awarded to vocational schools for this initiative.
