Library to Host Abstract Demonstration

WAYLAND, MA - Lois Novotny will drop by the Wayland Public Library on May 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for an abstract demonstration and casual discussion.

Novotny has attended classes led by Margret Krakauer through the Wayland Recreation Department and has also studied at the Danforth Museum School of Art with Ruth Scotch, Margaret Gerding and Bob Collins.

She has been a painter for approximately eight years. Most of her work are landscapes and abstracts in acrylic and oil. Light and color are most exciting to her and that is what she strives to capture in her paintings.

The event will take place in the Raytheon Room located in the library at 5 Concord Road.
