Man Saved From Old Wayland Reservoir
Fire crews discovered the man struggling 100 feet from shore.

WAYLAND, MA — Wayland firefighters acted fast to rescue a man from the Old Wayland Reservoir on Sunday.
At around 2 p.m., the Wayland Fire Department said crews rescued a 63-year-old man struggling 100 feet from the shore. He was rescued with specialized water rescue equipment.
He was then taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, according to the WFD.
