MetroWest Chamber CEO and President Leaving
Bonnie Biocchi accepts position at Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester.

The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce today announced that President and CEO, Bonnie Biocchi, has accepted a new position at Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester and will be stepping down in mid-August 2015.
Bonnie joined the executive leadership in 2010 and has worked to transform the Chamber into a modern powerhouse of advocacy and connectivity for the regional business community. By working with the legislative delegation, local municipal officials and both the Patrick and Baker Administrations, Bonnie has given greater MetroWest businesses a real voice in shaping policy and pursuing economic development.

As a premier Chamber of Commerce, the MetroWest Chamber has seen strong and stable economic health. To fill the position of President and CEO, a search committee has been established.
“Bonnie has left an indelible mark on the Chamber, including the cultivation of the Taste of MetroWest, the College Initiative and participating on the Economic Development Planning Council for the Commonwealth. We are so happy for Bonnie and wish her the best in her next endeavor,” said Lemonia Mironidis, chair of the Board for the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce. “As a Chamber, we recognize the strength of the foundation that we have created together with Bonnie and will continue to move forward with our strategic plan.”

In her new role as Senior Director of Business Development for Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester, Bonnie will continue to stay involved in the MetroWest community.
“I have truly enjoyed my five years with the Chamber and am leaving it in great hands. The board and membership is strong and committed to the community,” said Bonnie Biocchi. “I am looking forward to continuing to use my leadership and relationship-development skills at Habitat for Humanity to improve the lives of those I serve.”
