New Asian Restaurant To Open Along Post Road In Wayland

WAYLAND, MA — A new Asian restaurant will soon open along the Boston Post Road in a space previously occupied by a steakhouse.

Jindu Modern Asian Cuisine has been planning to open at 131 Boston Post Road for more than a year. The restaurant recently put a sign out in front of the building near the corner of Pine Brook Road. Reached by phone Thursday, a representative from the restaurant said the opening could be within a month.

Although not yet open, the restaurant has posted its menu on Toast. Jindu will serve a variety of Japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes. The restaurant will also serve alcohol: the Wayland Select Board signed off on Jindu's liquor license in March 2021.

The building was formerly the home of the Prime 131 Grill steakhouse, which opened in 2010 as Primebar Grill, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The space was previously Luigi's Italian Grille.
