New Boutique to Open on Sudbury/Wayland Line: MATSU
MATSU to open Dec. 9, 2014 at 92 Boston Post Road.

Sudbury, MA - Inspired to bring opulence, elegance and style sensibility to the women
of the MetroWest area, Boston fashion icon, Dava Muramatsu, is bringing Newbury Street to the suburbs beginning this month with the opening of her boutique - MATSU.
“I am curating a space on Boston Post Road that is transcending and transformative. It will exude the ambiance of a salon like sanctuary. The boutique will feature Nymph, my exclusive jewelry collections, luxurious home items, and clothing for the contemporary-minded woman,” Dava says.
After closing MATSU on Newbury Street in 2011, Dava created a virtual home, Davamuramatsu.com, encompassing a blog, styling services, and her jewelry line. In addition, she joined famed retailer Neiman Marcus as the Eskandar Specialist and during this time, her journey allowed her to curate individual style for her clients from head to toe, yet she felt there was a lack in the market of well-edited, beautiful and affordable wardrobe options that her former brick and mortar store delivered. In turn, Muramatsu has discovered a new space at 92 Boston Post Road on the Wayland/Sudbury line to fill this niche.

Her former clients are thrilled by the news that she has decided to re-open. “No one knows proportion, scale and texture like Dava Muramatsu - the news that she is re-opening is the best news I have heard in a very long time” said one long-time customer. “There has been a tremendous void in the Boston area without MATSU. Dava artfully encourages you to try new things - whether you would like to layer onto your existing wardrobe, or you desire an entire style update, you are
in the right hands at this gem of a store and it’s equally delightful owner.”
Bringing her artistic vision and eye for what’s new, exotic, and beautiful, MATSU will offer unique clothing from stylish basics to modern knits. MATSU will also offer select gifts for the home and lifestyle products that enhance and stimulate body, environment and soul. “One of my goals in re-launching is to nurture my clients through style and ultimately instill confidence,” says Muramatsu.
