Arts Wayland Expo 2023 Is Back This Weekend: What To Know

Originally set for May, the Arts Wayland Expo 2023 returns to the Wayland Town Center Saturday.

WAYLAND, MA — It might be a good thing the Arts Wayland Expo 2023 was postponed.

The arts festival will take place Saturday after being postponed from the original May 20 date due to rain. The forecast for this Saturday calls for sun and a high of 70 degrees — perfect weather for outdoor music, food and more.

This is the second Arts Wayland Expo. The idea came in 2019 when Wayland students Joss O'Heron, Ellie Barenboym and Kyra Spooner — who were then in middle school, but are now in high school — got permission to ask Town Meeting for approval to produce a music festival. Due to the pandemic, the event wasn't held for the first time until May 2022.
