Route 30 Closure In Wayland Moves Into Third Day
A closure of Commonwealth Road near Lake Cochituate State Park will stretch into a third day after a water main break Monday.
WAYLAND, MA — Emergency repairs along Route 30 in Wayland near the Natick border will stretch into a third day.
Route 30 between Main Street/Route 27 and East Plain street has been closed since Monday morning when a water main broke near the corner of Winter Street.
The road remained closed Monday and into Tuesday. Wayland police announced Tuesday afternoon that work would have to be finished on Wednesday. The road will close to all but local traffic at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A detour in place takes drivers around the construction site at Winter Street via East Plain and Main streets.
