A Statement from Erin Mueller - School Committee Elect

Hello Wayland -

Thank you for your confidence, trust and support in electing me to the Wayland School Committee. On Monday May 1st I will begin my new role as a member of the Wayland School Committee. I am humbled and honored to serve in the position alongside the current members of the School Committee and elect Christina Rodrigo. I have an incredible amount of appreciation for my fellow candidates Craig Gruber and Dovie King and every Waylander that participated in our town's democratic process.

I have been fortunate to meet so many amazing people that are actively involved and care deeply for our schools. I will continue to listen and serve as a voice of our students, families, educators and administrators. I appreciate the many kind and talented people that have shared their campaign experience, design skills, hosted and held yard signs and been my cheerleaders throughout this process. We are truly lucky to be part of such a wonderful community.

I've already been asked "if you become elected, will you continue to be present in the day to day workings of the schools, it's perspective giving." YES, it's that very perspective that led me here today. I look forward to remaining an active volunteer and will continue to keep the students of Wayland at the center of my focus.
