Van Crashes Into Wayland Liquor Store: Fire Department

WAYLAND, MA — Wayland firefighters responded to a crash Wednesday morning where a van driver crashed into a liquor store.

The crash happened at the Liquor World store at a plaza at 302 Commonwealth Road, according to the fire department. The driver was evaluated at the crash scene, and had non-life threatening injuries. The building's structure was also damaged.

302 Commonwealth Road is also where Mel's Commonwealth Cafe is located, but the restaurant did not sustain any damage.
