Wayland 2022 Beach Season Starts Memorial Day Weekend
A special preseason opening will happen at the town beach on Lake Cochituate.
WAYLAND, MA — Maybe it was the 90-plus degrees temps over the weekend that put the town over the edge.
Wayland will host a special town beach sneak peek over Memorial Day weekend. The Lake Cochituate beach will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday before the official opening in June, the town said Tuesday.
The beach preseason will continue over the weekends of June 4 and June 11. The beach opens for daily use starting June 18. Beach season runs through Aug. 21.
